What is RPET?

rPET Fabric, commonly referred to as an environmentally-friendly fabric crafted from recycled PET yarn bottles, has become a new type of green and eco-friendly fabric created from its low carbon source – revolutionizing regeneration efforts in terms of sustainability.

The difference from traditional fabrics:

1. It can reduce the use of oil, saving 6 tons of oil per ton of finished yarn and reducing air pollution.

2. With authoritative certification from the US SCS Environmental Protection Agency, it has a higher international recognition.

3. In response to the presence of chlorine in PVC (which is the main source of dioxin and has been proven to be a carcinogen), as well as heavy metals, plasticizers, and other pollutants that pollute the environment, without PVC, and with almost undetectable heavy metal content, PVC products have been specifically replaced as a new generation of environmentally friendly materials suppliers (environmentally friendly rolled PE, TPE, EVA, PEVA).

Application

Recently, rPET nonwoven fabric has become increasingly popular as an eco-friendly shopping bag material. Lamination weight typically falls within 65-130 grams range while printing fabric generally ranges between 130-300 grams; printing fabrics may then be turned into product bags through screen or heat transfer printing techniques and thickness and weight range can be adjusted based on customer needs.

Engineering building materials: roof waterproof coating materials, industrial filter materials, etc

Interior materials for transportation vehicles: seat cushions for airplanes, cars, and ships, interior materials: roof, car carpet, luggage compartment lining, etc;

Home textile fabrics: environmentally friendly shopping bags, printed packaging, luggage and shoe materials, clothing fabrics, sofas, mattresses, carpets, curtains, furniture decorative fabrics, wallpaper, etc; Flame retardant protective clothing, toy filling cotton: mainly used in the production of flame retardant protective clothing and firefighting clothing in industries such as firefighting, petroleum, and chemical engineering.
