Common Fabrics in Our Manufacturer

The common fabrics that we use frequently are 100% cotton, TC, polyester twill, washed cotton, canvas, nylon, stretchy cotton (composed of 98% cotton and 2% spandex), acrylic fabric, microfiber, sandwich mesh, nylon mesh, camo fabric, printed fabric, suede, PU, bird’s eye cloth/pineapple cloth (mainly composed of polyester), wool fabric, blended wool fabric, Melton, etc.

Sorted by fabric composition

When fabrics are sorted by fabric composition, there are pure cotton, polyester cotton, polyester, nylon, stretch cotton, acrylic fabric, PU (PU leather), PV, etc.

Sorted by texture

When fabrics are sorted by their texture, here are twill weave, plain weave, waffle weave, pile weave, Jacquard weave, dobby weave, lappet weave, tapestry weave, rib weave, Oxford weave, striped weave, chequered weave (also called plaid weave), double cloth weave, etc.

Sorted by woven methods

Woven types: 100% cotton, polyester cotton, polyester twill, canvas, nylon, microfiber.

Knitted types: bird’s eye cloth/pineapple cloth (mainly composed of polyester), stair cloths, towel cloths.

Sorted by the brushed surface

When the brushed surface is applied to fabrics, there are 3 types: unbrushed, lightly brushed, and heavily brushed. In general, a brushed surface is applied to pure cotton and microfiber.

In a word, 100% cotton twill is the most commonly used fabric in our manufacturer and is sorted by the density (yarn count) specifications, there are 5 types of it: 108×58(21×21/23×23), 128×60(16×21), 108×56(16×12), 10×10(74×44), 7×7(68×38) with gradually increasing in weight.

Fabrics for Hats

Baseball cap: Pure cotton, polyester cotton, polyester twill, stretch cotton, acrylic fabric, sandwich mesh, microfiber, camo fabric, stair cloth, bird’s eye cloth/pineapple cloth (mainly composed of polyester), washed cotton.

Amy/Military cap: Pure cotton, polyester, canvas, camo fabric, and stair cloth.

Sports cap: Microfiber, bird’s eye cloth/pineapple cloth (functional and moisture-wicking fabrics), cotton twill, dry-fit fabric.

Visor/Hollow-top cap: Pure cotton, polyester cotton, polyester twill, camo fabric, bird’s eye cloth/pineapple cloth, nylon, PVC, PU.

Trucker cap: Cotton twill, polyester with foam, nylon mesh.

Bucket hat/Fisherman hat: Pure cotton, polyester cotton, polyester twill, canvas, nylon.

Snapback cap/Panel cap: Cotton twill, acrylic fabric, blended wool fabric, camo fabric, printed fabric, suede, PU, Melton, high-grade fabric.

Beanie/knitted hat: Acrylic fabric, blended acrylic fabric, wool fabric, blended wool fabric, etc.

All the above are the common fabrics that we use to make various hats.
